my friend wants to block porn sites off of her computer. does anyone know of any sites to do that?

There's a review of content blockers at the link. I've never used one at home, but I'd be looking for things like the frequency and cost of updates and the ability to fine tune what gets blocked.

there are variety of softwares available to do so.netnanny, norton internet srecurity are a few. You can also do so from the internet explorer by going to tools -> internet option -> Content Tab and there click on enable button next to content advisor. You can then set a supervisor password. Under Ratings you can slide the content filter strength to select the level of content filtration required. You can also set the allowed websites. and Also set keywords to block a website.

why would you want to do that..........lol.......well u could use the internet options to block adult websites
