Ok whats the best way to find a girls ring size without making it obvious what you're doing? And how do ring sizes work? HELP!

wellllll for women i believe ring sizes range from about 4 - 10 .
4 being the smallest size ... and 10 the largest
i have never met a woman with a size 4 becuse that is EXTREAMLY small
me and most my friends are about a 6 7or 8 --- sometimes u can kind of figure it out by the girls weight - bigger sized girls sometimes have bigger hands so like for me im about 140 and my ring size is a 7 1/2.
but forget all this crap --- if you want to be REALLY slick ... and REALLY dont want her to have any idea ... somehow go into her room and find a ring that she never wears steal it and take it to the jeweler. Once you give her the new ring -- also give her the other one and tell her what you did ... im sure she wont be mad considering you had good intentions and that you bought her a ring! ... whatever you do - dont do anything stupid like try to bring it up in a natural conversation -- women can figure things out VERY quickly! if a guy even slightly brings up a conversation about rings or ring sizes or even if he shows too much attention to the ring shes wearing - a women will automattically assume shes getting a ring -- TRUST ME !

ps - if you buy this ring and it TOTALLY doesnt fit -- it wont matter because you could just go get it sized. wheather it be too big or too small!
the last of your worries should be the ring size -- just make sure its nice! you can always adjust the size!

There's no way to ask her without being obvious, she WILL know what's up. When I was buying my bf a ring I stole his other ring for one day and took it to the jewelers. It was the only way to surprise him. I felt horrible about it but I told him afterwards and he didn't mind at all.
Plus, I'm a girl and I don't even know my ring size, so even if I was asked I'd say, "I don't know."
Your best bet is to go somewhere like Kay Jewelers and purchase the lifetime warranty so you can have it resized as many times as you need for life.

Ring size is usually close to shoe size, so you can make a guess and probably be within one size. If you want to surprise her, don't play games. She'll catch on. When a guy asks your ring size under any circumstances, you wonder what he's up to.
Tell the jeweler that you want to surprise her and my need to bring the ring back to exchange it for one that's the right size. Any jeweler worth anything will be more than happy to exchange the ring for you.

Get one of her rings that fits her and take it to a jeweler's store. (They are all over the place). They usually have a stick that gets fatter at the bottom and has markings on it. Slide the ring on the stick and the number of the marking that it stops at is her ring size. Good luck!

Not a good idea. I can't think of a way to do it without being obvious. It's best you take her to the jeweller to get her finger sized.

take one of her rings from her that fits without her knowing and take it to the jewelry store with you. also 7 is average, so thats a safe bet. and ring and shoe size isnt always close, i wear a 5 ring and a 9 shoe!! she can always get it resized after you give it to her

just play it off say whats your shirt size, then ask what is her shoe size, then what is her pant size, what is her ring size, then ask a few more like what her favorite color is, if she is not sure what her ring size is then buy it and then get it sized after you give it to her, that is what my fiance did with me when he propose

my boyfriend played with my rings that i normally wear while I had them off to shower. He remembered how it fit on his fingers and then bought the ring that felt the same.

A bit tricky but possible.keep some Hankerchief or some thing with you and while talking measure the estimated circumference of the finger pretending that you love .
