why do ppl like aviator sun glasses?

If you didn't like your face, or the part of it the aviator glasses cover, you would understand quickly enough. Quite specifically, they cover the age wrinkles around the eyes, not too mention the bloodshot from too much whatever and too little sleep. Also, they go a long way to providing anonymity, if that's what you want. The old Hollywood use of sunglasses.

The Romans had a phrase, which I may not be able to spell correctly anymore: "Non disputendum gustibus est." Americans generally translate it as "No accounting for tastes," which is pretty close except that "accounting" needs to be more like "explaining." The word, really, is "disputing." That is, don't argue over tastes.

Aviators go back to the funtion over form days. Still miss my last pair of serengetti gradient aviators. Actually the company called them "drivers". Lasted forever. Have a different style now but by the same company. Expensive at $200. If you're looking to constantly be "in" better have the $'s.

you never know - the face the are hiding may be uglier than the glasses!

I actually think ppl follow most trends (especially the ones that aren't particularly flattering) for one of two reaons.
1.)because they don't want ppl to laugh at them(emporor's new clothes)
2.) because they "get" that fashion is sometimes silly but always (hopefully) interesting and they are not afraid to laugh at themselves.

i imagine the all-time low blouse with the lighter wash skinny denims ought to look solid. and doubtless layer the blouse over a black tank proper, to make better evaluation with the denims. and upload some type of funky earrings too per chance, purely to finish it

yeah those kind of glasses are cool. Its their life and their style leave them to it. If you dont like them then fair enough but it isnt you who has to wear them so stop moaning.

I don't personally like them, but I do like big sunglasses. Nothing wrong with hiding...

coz all that avatar faces are silly, or most of them at least - that's why!
if the eyes weren't so silly, people wouldn't be hiding them.

first,it's today's fad. second,it can provide full coverage for your eyes. well,people don't like the same things. :)
