No I'm not spamming people, it's for a client they want to send a nicely formatted email (prefferably with an html layout - links to online images or attached) to their client list, a few thousand people.

Is there anything that anyone has used before (not just Outlook and pasting in 10,000 email adresses) - oh Mac preferably.

Be aware that a lot of ISP's now close your account if they catch you running mass emailing software -

This may not be an issue for your (Business) Client, but you may need to be extra carefull when testing :-)

Since Mac is based on FreeBSD, I am sure any mailing list software like listserv, mailman and majordomo will work. The link below (while FreeBSD specific, should work) should give you and idea.

i use mail bomber for people subscribed to my mailing list http://www.softheap.com/bomber.html

very easy to use and cheap for what you get
