Depends on how soon after your last cycle on a positive/whether home test shows negative or not. The best time, when early enough, to do the home test is first thing in the morning. the first cycle I missed-I was 2 months pregnant. I took the test in the evening, after work-and it was a positive. Maybe wait another day or two for the home test again? Take care.

yes it could be positive and come up negative at home because it happened to me i took 7 or more home tests and they all came up negative then we went to the doctors and it was positive and now we have a cute little boy.

It very well could be. My suggestion is to go and get blood work done or wait another week or so then take another test.
