how do i open the pop up window.

Your pop - up blocker is blocking the add. Simply:
↓ Go to Internet Properties
↓ Privacy tab (at the Tab)
↓ Remove the tick from the pop - up blocker option
Also if you have a tool bar such as yahoo / Google these come standard with a pop - up blocker and must be deactivated by simply clicking the pop up blocker.
