Depends which tv channels and type of programmes etc.
TV USB stick - pretty cheap, as mentioned. Conventional and Freeview channels.

You need two things, cable tv coming to your home, and a tv tuner card to put in your computer. The one I have is made by ATI, here's a link to their site:

Other companies might make tv tuner cards, I'm not sure. You can buy one online, or you can get it at Best Buy or Circuit City or someplace like that.

There's loads of solutions for that now - I'd go to a local computer retailer and ask them - they normally have stuff like that on display - pretty cheap too.
