Yep, I did that a lot when I was younger. I would hide money in these off the wall places or I would put a 20 in a compartment of my wallet, then forget it was there. I've probably given some generous, accidental donations to Goodwill.

Yes, I put things in a good place that I "know just where to find it" all the time. It's amazing the things I find throughout the house, when I am not looking for them.

Yes. And it took me almost 6 years to the day to find it.
I just found it last Monday.
Once, my dad his an easter egg so well - we'd just moved into the house - that we didn't find it until we were packing to move out of that house many years later! Luckily it had dried up and never broken.

Well, I found it again but not until the next time I wore the jacket. It was a year later and I put the jacket on and found my car keys. I hate it when that happens.

Yes. My son got in trouble and I hid his controller for his PS2, it took months to find it. As it turned out I must have given it back or he took it and lost it himself as it was in his room when we finally found it.
