Global Warming, as we think we know it, doesn't exist. And I am not the only one trying to make people open up their eyes and see the truth. But few listen, despite the fact that I was the first Canadian Ph.D. in Climatology and I have an extensive background in climatology, especially the reconstruction of past climates and the impact of climate change on human history and the human condition. Few listen, even though I have a Ph.D, (Doctor of Science) from the University of London, England and that for 32 years I was a Professor of Climatology at the University of Winnipeg. For some reason (actually for many), the World is not listening. Here is why.

Please read this story and tell me why I should believe in Global Warming.

Why is it that when someone disagrees with your point, you are told to fart in a bag and put your head in it?

Global Warming is a huge business and this guy disagrees with the consenses. Galileo, perhaps more than any other single person, was responsible for the birth of modern science. However he was persecuted, just as this guy is being. He turned out to be right.

The union of concerned scientist have a political agenda as well. I hear about scientific models every day. However these are the same "scientists" who cannot even tell me if eating an egg is bad for my cholesteral.

One week eggs are bad for you, the next they are good for you. What is it?

Global warming is BIG business. All the grants that so-called scientists get to promote this political ideology are worth millions! The politicians who lust for power on both the national and world stage are trying to use this as leverage to further tax us and control us. If global warming were proven to be false, what would the pseudo-scientists do for a living-WORK? And what of poor, lonely, pathetic Al Gore? Global warming hysteria is his only way of staying in the spotlight and feeling relevant.

Your opinions will never change my mind. Facts might, but you fall short in the article. Way short.

As for these "Degrees" Bob has earned, far as I'm concerned he can place those degrees on a thermometer, grease it up and sit and spin to check HIS temperature!

You can't seriously think that all the pollutants we shove into the atmosphere is a GOOD thing, can you?

Global warming or not, most people are more inclined to believe that pollutants pollute, and alternatives must be studied and put into place at some point. The sooner the better for future generations.

Though I have no Ph.D. to make myself sound credible, I too have been arguing the global warming fact for some time. The fact of the matter is that people like to believe that they matter in the world. They like to believe that they have the power to destroy and/or save the world they live on, when the truth is they are only biding there time here. Thank you for writing this, maybe someone will be able to see the truth through the fog everyone seems to have instilled around themselves.

Kyoto cost...

Since February 16, 2005, the Kyoto Protocol has cost US$ 296,066,900,770 while potentially saving an undetectable 0.003070323 °C by the year 2050.

Malaria cost US$ 259,396,942,641 in lost GDP and 5,329,204 lives over the same period.

Does Al Gore really believe in catastrophic global warming? Since Al Gore was offered the opportunity (in person) to facilitate serious debate on the underlying science of global climate change, 1 year, 1 month, 1 day, 22 hours, 20 minutes, and 0 seconds have elapsed.

Yawn.....I find it odd that such well educated folks feel the need to resort to name calling ( "why don't liberals" ) and generalizations to get their point across. Spend a few days out in the oil and gas fields of Wyoming in sub zero temps. with me...then tell me how much you really care about global anything. I guarantee, the only thing you will be thinking about is, my fingers hurt, are we done yet?, this sucks, man I'm hungry, are we done yet?, and maybe even..... Global warming my AZZ! it's fuggin' cold!, or even, hey I got a PhD. I'm above this kind of work.

You won't have time to think....Damn liberals don't listen to anybody, nobody listens, there's no global warming, blah, blah, blah.

It never ceases to amaze me... the more one sits in a classroom with a bunch of Narcissists, the more they emulate the word..how's that for name calling? Save your empty theories for your other lazy azz buddies and get a real fuggin' J.O.B.

All that is important is that we live a productive and Honorable life, while blowing as little smoke up others azzes as possible.

We've been on a warming trend since the end of the last Ice Age. I'm quite certain the same thing happened before the last Ice Age started.

Mother Nature goes in cycles. Some things survive. Some things don't. If the water level rises 300 feet there will be more Democrats that have to move than Republicans. *LOL* Maybe they will be dispersed and then they won't be able to tell each other just how right their ideas are.

Because there is no evidence or proof against global warming in that article, only opinion and deflection.

Meanwhile, many many experiments and models and observations contradict the claims of that article.

Oh boy, what some people will do for corporate funding.

Edit: FYI, Timothy Ball is bought and paid for by the oil industry and makes some really outrageous claims. In the past he's actually claimed that global warming is a good thing because Canada needs a temperature increase.

As I said... oh what people will do for a little money.

Edit2: I see the freepers on this site don't like the fact that one of the only "scientists" on their side is notably corrupt. Don't blame me... I'm just the messenger here.

The article is a joke. I see now where you copied and pasted the above resume from. No where in the article does is address and attempt to refute specific scientific findings or even offer alternative explanations for scientific observations.

Well, maybe because it's scientifically proven.

And it is scientifically proven that humans are, in part, contributing to it.

A bigger question is, why are you so offended by people talking about global warming? If it doesn't exist, it's like people talking about the Easter Bunny, so what's the problem?

The fact that the world isn't listening to you may have something to do with the fact that most of the scientific community disagrees with you.
