They've jobbed out Test and RVD too many times. Everyone else on the roster has been buried except for Hardcore Holly and CM Punk, but neither one of them has been properly built up for a main event (though Punk probably should have been).

I think they'll build Hardcore Holly to challenge for the title.

He whooped on CM Punk (ending his streak) and RVD (beating him cleanly last week).

They also protected him by replacing him with TEST on the TV match. (read: saving him for later)

It's kind of stupid, though, in my opinion, because Holly doesn't really come off as a viable challenger. Actually, there's noone in ECW right now that seems like a viable challenger for Lashly. Everyone else has been non-pushed or outright burried over the last few months.

EDIT: 2-7-07

After watching ECW last night, and watching them bury Holly as well, my new vote lies squarely, and sadly, with Snitsky. Why shave that awesome beard?

I think they may have a triple threat or fatal four way to put some other people in the title hunt quickly. Thats what they normally do when they need more contenders. I would have loved to see test with the title though.

Does it matter? Its a worthless title, with so few contenders, that they have to keep bringing in people from other shows. Bigshow looked ashamed to hold the ecw " belt " it was sad to watch.
rvd will be there for sure...

Instead of RVD or Test being champ, I would like to see Sabu as ECW champ.

"The Man Beast" Rhyno, that would be a kick *** match!

In all truth, it will probably be Rob Van Damn or C.M. Punk.
