My wife and I will occasionally ditch work in the middle of the week and go out on our own. It's like being childless again!

Actually, I find that most couples look forward to the day when their children leave the nest. It's a time to rekindle old romantic ways, revisit ones youth. Pick up where one has left off....If your partner doesn't get the message, then maybe it's time you enlightened him/her
