Please don't say Amazon! Any good literary websites, books etc, I have looked, but there dosen't seem to be a lot of information on the web.

I personally find using google uk for english lit helps a lot, one good site for discussion on this book is http://www.philhine.org.uk/writings/rit_hawksmoor.html

Ackroyd has to be one of the finest writers of our times, and if you haven't read his "English Music", well ...

Also check out "The Collection" by him.

You could always try reading the book. That's always a pretty safe bet
