Will most new DVD and CD players play home-made CDs? My old systems wont!?

Currently, only my PC will play home made CDs...

Yes I believe they will. Look on the box that the unit comes in for things like CD-R CD-RW, MP3, WMA compatible. If those words are on the box you should be able to play MOST CD's burnt at home.

I think that the most likely problem is that you are making the cd's wrong. I had a similar problem a while back. I was making a data cd not a music cd. my computer would play it but nothing else. Make sure yuo are making a music cd. I would suggest using a program like windows media player.
