I'm a lesbian. I LOVE women but I've often been told i don't look gay soooo no one hits on me. I'm gettin alot of attention from guys and to spare myself from loneliness, i'm considering dating men again... just to feel wanted and adored. Should I settle? How can I seem more openly gay? (I'm very open already... or so I thought)

I don't think it's a very wise decision.

First of all, you might end up hurting the guys. What if they seriously fall for you? What would you do?

And you? Masking yourself will always hurt you. erhaps you may not recognise it but subconscioulsy,it's there.

Why don't you try blind dating? Or meeting via the net?

Hi. There are a few possibilities--bars of course, there may be a social organization, if your area has a gay center they may be able to give you some tips. Even on the internet, there are some msn (probably yahoo too) groups where women can connect. I hope it works out for you.

well although i dont agree with your lifestyle but i wont condem you for it either. but some times ppl have a "gay" look and turn out not to be gay. If you mean should u "butch" up no i dont think u should. I'm sorry but men should look like men ;women should look like women. and being a guy you wouldnt be settling anyway.

I never knew that you could look "gay". My sister is gay and I am not sure how Gay is supposed to look. Maybe you aren't in the right places to find a woman. Try looking for gay clubs in your community and maybe you can try hitting on women that you find attractive.

I have the same problem. I love women but I'm very femme so they usually don't know. But I wear a rainbow-colored beaded bracelet every day and that usually lets them know. When I wear jeans and a T-shirt rather than skirts, that usually helps too.

if you were really a lesbian. You wouldn't wait to be hit on. I one of my good buddies is a lesbian and she isn't the least bit shy.

She's one of those lipstick lesbians, so she doesn't "look gay" either, but I usually see her making the first move.

How about instead of putting effort into making a relationship with a guy you don't love work you instead put that effort towards finding a female date?

If you're a lesbian why would you date men just because you're lonely. I'm gay and lonely without partner. you won't see me going to women.

Wear a plaid shirt, blue jeans with a wallet in the back pocket, a buck knife on your belt, short hair, and smell like a peach.
I like P-ssy too but you litteraly are designed to be following your chromosones and should.
Any thing else is doomed to fail.
Ya know...You shouldn't F&^% with mother nature, cause she punishes us equaly for going against her
