i have a red shirt (long sleeves) which was given as a gift by a friend last year. I just cant figure out how to carry it? is it good for going out with a pair of black jeans, or something else? without ending looking like the devil from last halloween or the sleezy uncle in the family.

I think the red with black would be fine.... or with khakis too..
The only thing I would stay away from is... red shirt, with white shirt under... and blue jeans... (Unless it is 4th of July and you are american)..... otherwise you'll look like a flag.

Tan khakis, blue jeans, grey slacks.

Black pants are too Christmas-like.

Good luck, but I can't help you, my wife gave me a pair of red slacks. Just try to make THAT work.
