Actually there was more:

1. The Emergency Quota Act of 1921 which limited immigrants from Europe to only 3% of the total number of immigrants from each country in 1910. Meaning if the Netherlands sent 10,000 immigrants to the United States in 1910, only 300 could enter the country in 1921.

2. The Immigration Act of 1924 reduced the number of immigrants allowed to only 2% of the number in 1890 (they rolled back the year twenty years.)

3. The Japanese were banished hands down and NONE were admitted.


The result? In 1931 more Americans LEFT American than entered America (for the first time in our history.)
