I went to a store, and tried to bargain over the price of furniture, but they just looked at me, like i was a martian or something.
There are so many furniture stores out there, that if you dont see what you want, look for another store.

It is not just furniture stores. It is just a way to get people to buy them thinking that they are getting a great deal. HMV and Virgin megastore always have a sale on. And each month they have the same stuff in the sale pretty much. I used to work in HMV and many of the CD's/DVD's that are in the sale are bought extremely cheaply so even with a sale they are still making a profit. It is not much mind you, but with the amount of CD's/DVD's they shift it certainly all adds up.
