It depends on how far he goes with it. Some guys can get away with wearing something like slacks and a slightly feminine shirt or angora sweater, let's say. Also, he could wear a plaid skirt and say it's a kilt (which my Scottish ancestors have been wearing for a long time and still wear on special occasions); or wear a decorative robe and call it a men's kimono. The is a line that is increasingly blurred as cultures blend together. A man who goes all out to appear to be a woman (dress, makeup, etc.), however, is not the norm, even in open-minded places that profess to accept that sort of thing. Even in the rarefied atmosphere of a gay bar, the drag queens are usually the only men dressed as women; the other gay male patrons are usually dressed as regular males. So, no, it isn't the norm, although it is more accepted in certain places and subcultures.

Women dressing like guys can get away with it more than any man dressing like a woman. And NO it is not normal unless you live in fruity San Fran.

i've got continually been raised to dress modestly and habit a woman-like way. Dressing in a eye-catching way yet no longer a sexy come-on way no skirts so short or sweaters so tight they leave no longer something to the mind's eye. And makeup an inch thick. Its truthfully no longer widely used, so in different words, we've very few modest females in our society on the instant. this variety of pity.

it is acceptable when women dress as men, or at least in outfits designed to look like men's , but men wearing women's dress is still considered bizarre, maybe because men are more conservative than women about what they wear, and maybe because women considering wearing men's pants a sign of equality or superiority.

Ha, not in my eyes.

A man should dress like a man and a woman like a woman.

I don't think it will ever be considered "normal". I do see it alot, to each his own. I do think it can be dangerous sometimes, there are many intolerant people that like to hurt anyone that is different from what they view as normal.

If you're a liberal buffoon it is. Any man who dresses as a woman has serious issues, he needs counseling. It's not an "alternate lifestyle".
