0 c = 32 F
100 c = 212 F
therefore
c / 100=(f-32)/180
c = (f-32)*5/9

I believe the formula is 5/9(F) - 32= C
although I could be mistaken I am 80% sure thats it. The 5/9 might be inverted as 9/5 though. Check the formula out

Changing °F (Fahrenheit) to °C. (Celsius)

°C = (°F - 32) ÷ 1.8

Your example:

°C = (°F - 32) ÷ 1.8 = (68 - 32) ÷ 1.8 = 36 ÷ 1.8

°C = 20
