My guess is that Yahoo contacts them and asks them to come up with a question for Yahoo Answers, so they all come up with a different wording for the same darned standard assembly-line "I'm-so-concerned" celebrity question. Then they put a really annoying picture of them looking all concerned. Then they go out and spend $2000 on a pair of shoes.

I doubt it. They are probably doing it via their assistants as a publicity stunt. I'm sure some of them do really care about world issues, but in the large scheme of things, they are the ones with the money to make changes. Who knows, maybe someone can give them a good idea and have them put their money to good use. Only problem is they will get the credit..
