I think is just because the ppl that only get the Xbox 360 can't ADD $400.00 USD game console plus
$200.00 USD HD DVD ROM plus
$100.00 USD Wireless network adapter plus
$ 50.00 USD Xbox Live.
$200.00 USD for 2 Extra Hard drives of 20 GB
Grand total of: $950 USD plus tax.

To include the some of the features the PS3 already has.

By far the Xbox 360 doesn't have nearly as many features as the PS3.

Let's not mention that you can't even think about installing a second operating system on the Xbox. and you can do so in the PS3.

The Ps3 is more than just a game console, the Xbox 360 is at best an overpriced machine.

Why do you think Microsoft is making money out of it?

ANSWER:

BECUASE THEY ARE SELLING YOU LESS FOR YOUR MONEY.

I got the xbox 360 when it came out and that overheating piece of junk when back to the store because i got tired of having Oblivion and other games freezing on me every 15 minutes.

To be completly honest, no that is not the only reason that he PS3 is being given a hard time. For a supposed next generation system, it is the worst of the 3. They rushed the systems to the market to try and beat the Wii out, because of this there are so many problems with it that its almost impossible to list them all. Over heating, bad game titles, System failures, Huge price of games, the list goes on. PS3 is going to be the downfall of Sony and many video game reviewers agree on that.

No, but that's the biggest reason. Also, it has the same overheating problem as the 360 (If you get the dreaded red light, there's a possibility the system won't turn back on. Microsoft usually fixes it, i think, but Sony isn't so nice) although 360 has cooling fan attachments, idk if there are any for PS3. The games have awful loading times, and even with putting the overheating issue aside, people still have problems with their systems.

Playing PS2 games on the PS3 makes the games actually look WORSE. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoCD9TwLrVs), I don't even know about PS1.

And the worst part? Sony refuses to acknowledge any of these problems.

The reason is because with the PS3 sure the features are great, but you never know when it will black out or if the connection is good or bad. You also have to know if your tv supports 1080i; and plus some people aren't into wireless when it comes to game systems. Loading times are bad; so you know what, I just save my self the aggravation and keep on playing my PS2.

I have a PS3 and I am more than pleased with it. I have had no problems as far as overheating, system malfunctions, load times etc., and I have 4 games and love them all (Resistance, Call of Duty 3, Madden, and Tiger Woods). The Playstation Network is easy to access and it's free, so you can't beat that.

There are plenty of people who bash the PS3, but I don't let it get to me, because I'm too busy having a great time playing mine. Not to say that the other consoles aren't fun as well.

I dont subscribe to that thought. If a product is good it will withstand the criticisms and ofcourse a bad product will carry ill-repute.

I think PS3 jumped the gun before it could undergo proper testing schemes.... and needless to say its facing the wrath. More & more people are going for Xbox and shifting loyalties in the process.

I have both the 360 and the ps3 and my ps3 never gets used. I am not highly impressed with it at all. Other than watching blu ray movies it's just an overpriced decoration

well some people do that but actual games and console reviewers are giving it a hard time because they feel sony is trying to earn easy cash buy putting the price up when really xbox 360 is making far more money so they are wrong.
