Don't you hate when someone asks a question, you give a good answer a very well researched and thought out answer...and they let the question expire? Drives me batty! Has that happened to you? Only good thing is for others it means a free 2 points lol

Yes it is aggravating especially when I was sure that I would get best answer. If they don't want to pick a best answer they should put it up for a vote.

in defense of the "accused", yes i hate it.
but on the other hand, you got to think from the questioners point. 1. sometimes there are more then one really good answers and giving ten points to one doesnt feels right. so he/she puts it up for a vote to let those that happen to browse by decide.
2. he/she simply dont have the time to. like someone above said ( although a little bluntly ) some of our jobs can be quite taxing at times.

you can always vote for the undecided questions, I've gotten a lot of best answers that way.
