She is obsessed with it. She wears very dark brown eyeshadow and piles it on. When she puts on mascara shes like basically ripping her eyelashes off, she is constantly applying lip gloss during class. She layers lotions on herself. She sprayed like a curtain of perfume on herself, and I was literally choking on it. My kind of friend Kyle told her it stinks like butt, and sprayed her with axe. Shes obsessed with herself. My friend sits there and says shes hot. Shes so conceited! My other friend and I tried to tell her to stop but she thinks its a joke. The girl goes Im so full of myself. Thats really bad to say about yourself! My friend is really plain looking, but why does she feel like she has to be obsessed with her image?

If my friend fancies her why does he say she stinks and is gross? Im not jealous of being a conceited brat, or having a lump of makeup on my face. She has no friends by the way

There is no way that I would be able to tell for certain why your friend acts the way that she does.
However, it is possibly linked with a low self-esteem about the way that she looks. Perhaps she feels that if people see her putting on the makeup and see her wearing a ton of products, they will see her as some sort of diva or model. Perhaps she channels the way she feels about other things into obsession about her looks - a way of hiding from the facts. Maybe she wants more attention, and this is her way of drawing it to herself.
There are probably a thousand different reasons why your friend acts the way that she does, so please realize that these answers are only possible explanations.

Does your friend have a boyfriend? She probably does this because she feels unconfident, and the conceited attitude is all fake! Possibly, if a guy saw her without all of her make up on, and told her how great she looked, she would stop trying so hard to look good. Maybe if you took a group picture of her and your other friends, she would notice it doesn't take a ton of make up to look good.

Sounds to me like she needs to crack open a book instead of cracking open a bottle of lip gloss. Where the hell is your teacher when she's doing this? I graduated high school six years ago and mine never allowed that to happen while you were in class!

i think your jelous of her cause your friend fancies her and you dont like that and everyone likes her....but dont worry everyone is jelous of some one :)
