I wrote Todd Bridgest in '81 and got a postcard with his picture in '82.

I wrote to Leonardo DiCaprio in his Growing Pains days back in '91 or '92, but never got a response back. :-( I had the biggest crush on him at the time.

I also wrote to Will Friedle of Boy Meets World fame in '93 or '94, and got the standard "thank-you-for-being-a-fan" letter and a 5 x 7" glossy black-and-white photo of him.

Yes, I was a bit Teen Beat-pinup boy-crazy back then!

sorta..i couldnt exactly write to Raviv UIlman (Raviv is his real name) knowing fan addresses never respond so he was going to be at a convention one day my mom called to see how we submit application like how much it was going to the fee or where it was.
and it turned out it was too far away so we couldnt go...well my mom knew i was utterly disappointed so she talked to the lady about how i really wanted to meet him. the lady said i should email her (gave me her email address) and she would give him the email that day he was there. im pretty sure i deleted the email reply from her about what he said in response a long time ago but he said basically that the letter was sweet, appreciated it and enjoyed reading it. i felt like he wasnt really reading it though because i asked him at the end of the letter for an autographed picture and he didnt say anything about it. he also did not email me a response back even though i gave him my email. ah well that i dont mind since hes not much for computers but i spent all that time writing down my address for an autograph and he never gave me one. at the time i was utterly depressed at what the lady said was his response. i talked about my rabbit and what we had in common and his acting. it wasnt a long letter, only about a paragraph and a quarter length.
but i guess he didnt really read that much, i wouldnt have either at the time, because he musta thought i was one of those crazy fan girls. after all i did sorta imply that i was into him because in one part i talked about how i liked his hair. plus i asked if we could exchange phone numbers but of course i said i understand if he didnt want to share until we got to know each other better.

ah well i was a crazy teenybopper then falling for the stars who i had never met and hardly know....it was only a few years ago but you learn alot in about 2-3 yrs.
yes this was definitely when i had a thing for him. if i would write him a letter these days..it would be very sensible and respectable. i know him very well now and after knowing him better, hes definitely not bf material for me but i know he would be fun to hang with.
