I am in the same rut. I have no money.....and my boyfriend hates candy and sweets. I was looking at stupid stuffed animals, but what the heck will he do with that?
What I decided to do is write him a poem and put it in a card. He will appreciate that more than any stuffed animal or box of candy...
PS the guys are right....men just want sex on this holiday!

There actually is no proper way to answer this. Its not what men like because no man likes the same as other men all the time. We may have the same equipment but are interest vary. You know ur man. You get him what you think he would like. maybe do it with a twist and it dont have to be sexual.

What are his interests? Get him something related to that. You don't necessary have to get him a "romantic gift" If you really want to stick with the holiday get him some Valentines day Boxers or his favorite cologne.

I would go with a naughty negligee and an all night favorite for him experience...I know it makes you feel bad about the money thing so if he has a special hobby, maybe you can buy for that.My man likes saltwater aquariums so he gets naughty night with a new saltwater fish swimming in his tank the next day.Be creative.

obviously, i don't know your bf and everyone is different but for valentine's day the entire point is to make the person you're with feel special. if he drops a lot of money on a present for you, that's his way of doing that. if you don't have a particular gift in mind and you think he's buying you somethin nice, go out of your way to make it a good day for him. hit up victoria's secret and buy some new apparel for yourself.. rent a movie you know he'll like.. make him dinner.. you know how to have a good night. if you're going to buy him something, we like electronics - but those don't really scream "i love you" as loud as a beautiful night. make him feel sexy.
or buy him a rolex.

get him a nice hot outfit for you to wear. Have you tried the sex thing in the past? If not this is why he isnt into the gifts. Valentines day is a day to express love, not gifts

Same things as usual, I think. Tickets, power tools. Some actually like flowers and stuff sent to work... A good book.
