I've been having some strange dreams lately. One of them involves my fiancee and I. At first we're in our back yard and he tells me that he doesn't love me anymore and he's leaving. He drives off and then four hippos (yes, the actual animal) come and chase me around the yard. I know it sounds crazy, but please remember it's a dream. I've had hippos in my dreams a lot lately. Anyone know anything about dreams or maybe a good website that has information about dreams?

Maybe a couple of things here. You seem to have concerns about your worthiness for love. Your fiancee has stopped loving you. This may be cause by what you perceive as a weight issue. Do you think you are fat? That would explain the Hippos. Or are you afraid of getting fat and him leaving you? The hippos(fat) are chasing you( a threat). Examine your feeling about your body and your true feelings about your fiance's commitment

hippo in dreams may be associated with being ungainly or overweight
Useful questions are:
Is the dream hippo indicating anything about weight issues?
If so what? Am I living a secret life - underwater?
Are they indications of pregnancy or birth in the dream?

maybe you are afraid he doesn't love you or he will leave you on the day of your wedding. And hippos.... i don't know what this means, but maybe it describes some person who wants to hurt you, or likes your fiancee.

Hippos symbolize physical strength. A herd of them is your inability to handle this strength. Maybe a breakup would be too much for you to handle?

maybe you are having doubts about your relationship. You may think he is falling out of love or maybe you are the one who is falling out of love. When I was engaged I was having dreams about my fiance but we are married now. I wold talk to your fiancee about these dreams and take it from there.
