Most people are afraid to go against the norm, they want to believe what they are told and do not want to look into the possibility that things aren't always as they appear. In spite of some the conspiracy theories making perfectly good sense they want to believe what the media and other tell them. I believe in looking at both sides of the coin. Although we may never know the truth, I always believe that anything is possible.

I know that The Government has hidden agendas. I also spot other things but we can only judge on the information we are given. Therefore we are controlled in a way by the media. The governments supporters do suppress stories that damage them. But I think quite a few of us already know these things. What power do we have? If you have read some of my answers I have slated the Government at times and am probably on a list somewhere. There was a programme on the other night about The Israeli Vanunu who told the world that the Israelis had a nuclear bomb production plant in the desert. Now Mossad are The Worlds most feared and successful intelligence organisation. Why did they let Vanunu escape and travel all over Europe and Australia and leave him alone long enough for him to talk to the newspapers? Not only talk to them-he had to wait months whilst they checked out his story. Was this because The Israelis wanted the world to know they had The Bomb? I think so

Now I'm certainly not accusing you of being a loony... True - anything is possible. BUT on close inspection, most things (9/11, Princes Di, men "never been to the moon", etc, etc) do actually add up. You just need be (a) of rational mind, and (b) in possession of the facts!
The question should be - how do we get to know all the facts? Not actually that easy, given our warped media!
That said, conspiracy theories, are, by and large, just another name for good old fashioned superstition. Superstition was big in the Dark Ages. I rest my case.

our controllers that are out there
have tried to make sure
ALL the conspiracy theorists are discredited & labelled as being "the loonies."
That's what the film 'The Matrix' is about, isn't it?
Our so-called 'civilised' world of attractive, glamerous shop-fronts are just that - a glossy front to allure the unsuspecting innocents, who fail to see the reality of broken dirty hovels nearly everyone has to "live" in.
Maggie Thatcher & her henchmen (& their followers) have done such a super job of trying to convince people Socialism
(i.e. helping thy brother & neighbour)
is bad...
that most people now are confused & wont put their hand up to be counted if they do still believe in true socialism
for fear they will be nabbed
by the forces at work
to silence 'em
Such is the Sad world we "live" in!
It's either that or the theories
are too remote... to be entirely credible...

Because most people are bombarded with what the media tells them to believe, and unfortunately they rarely get time to sit down and question it.
Plus the REAL truth, in lots of instances, is scary.
I think the most ridiculous conspiracy theory of all is the one that said 11 peasants from the world's poorest country (who had been described as 'terrible pilots'), led by a old man on a dialysis machine, were able to infiltrate the most sophisticated air defense system on Earth unaided and completely demolish three buildings!! (Building 7 as well)

yep 9/11 was an inside job. Sure whatever you tell yourself. We all know the fire that was produced by the planes that crashed into the trade centers is not hot enough to collapse the towers. And the Titanic was an unsinkable ship, but an iceburg showed those poor bastards now didn't it. Or maybe the government put explosives inside the ship to secretly stop immigration. Oh yeah, go tell the families who lost their love ones in the planes that daddy is faking his death. I'm sure they"ll be pleased.
-There is no party more against government then Libertarians and we don't believe that crap.

No doubt there are conspiracies around, but seriously do you think you have any idea what they are. I doubt it. Get over Diana...it was an accident, purre and simple. They DO happen you know. JFK may well have been murdered,by the CIA, Mafia etc but we'll never know. Man did land on the moon, Lincoln was assasinated by a group of conspirators, Ceasar was murdered by his fellow romans, but the big question is....Is Yahoo a secret government listening post ?

I agree with you. When is everyone going to realise 9/11 was an inside job? it's true. The official story of 9/11 is a conspiracy.

They don't want to upset the status quo, it would force them to admit that everything is not ok and we are in fact under the control of a very dangerous element, whether its governments or a secret society.
It takes them out of their comfort zone.
