Parts of my screen goes blue?

Hi guys,

Do any of you guys ever get bits of your screen go blue? This happens to me nearly every time I put my pointer anywhere on the box I wish to write in, I clear it by moving my pointer out of box and left click.

I cannot remember how long I have had this problem, I have been online using pc since end of april last year. Is this just one of these things that you have to put up with , or is there a way I can clear it altogether.

I am using a laptop, nothing magnetic near it. If it was what you guys said it wouldnt go away by me by left clicking screen outside text box.

When I say Blue, it is the exact same as when u copy and paste text by pointing your pointer to top left then hold left mouse key, go across to right then scroll down, everything is highlighted in blue.

make sure you video cable is properly hooked to the video port and no pins are broken or twisted.

Reinstall OS if it doesn't work.

DONT REINSTALL YOUR OS!

There maybe a simple explination, do you have speakers by your monitor?

Well look for magnets near you monitor, because magnets affect your monitor, because the monitor is a magnet as well, and they attract, and well its to scientific for me lol, but look for magnets and im sure if you have any magnets or any other type of technical equiment, move them away and see?
