smile and screw them over somehow?
whatever you do, keep smiling. dont put yourself in a bad mood over stupid people.

I too work with cretins! I just totally switch off from them and get on with my own things!

If you want to win. You have to tell them what they want to hear. They are in a lower level so you can tell them anything. Praise their clothes all the time, tell them they are so magnificent.. even you know it is a big fat lie. They must believe you want to be like them... make them think that you are a friend. Soon you will have the chance to show them as the biggest stupid persons. Trust me, this is better than be stressed all the time because of this people. You deserve health and happiness everywhere.. try this! :D

I like to move things around on their desks to confuse them - hold on, that makes me a cretin. Problem solved !!

I generally tell them they are a cretins, alienate them totally and then they do not hassle me and I can ignore tham and get on with my day.
I work with a bunch of nancy-boys who moan more than you can ever imagine and I find that if I tell them straight they dont moan to me anymore!!!!!
It the fear-factor!

I know what you mean, some days I just want to run through my office and slap people. But seriously, you just have to develop alot of patience and fortitude and for the most part ignore them, unless their behavior seriously undermines your ability to work. If that happens you let management deal with the idiots.

Get yourself out and keep looking for a company that actually employs people with an education and enough brain cells to use it.
It's taken me 8 years to find somewhere to work that doesn't make me want to chop them all up with a chainsaw.

I mock them openly in a subtle yet refined way - they usually don't catch on because they are generally as stupid as they are crass.
My favorite way - and this is a secret I'm sharing with my Y friends - is to write mean words and phrases in the columns of e-mails and memos. Meeting agendas are the BEST!! No one ever catches it, but it makes me smile the rest of the day. Read the book Bag of Bones for pointers. And don't spread this secret, I'm giving it to Y'all as a gift to use for good, not evil. :-)
