Well it depends what part of the fear you're talking about. I do not not which gland is responsible with the feeling of fear. But the reaction is caused by the hypothalamus if I remember well. It generates adrenaline that accelerates the heartbeat, generates sweat and gets you ready to run away as fast as you can

Its the Amgdala in the brain is where fear comes from, if something happens to that part then you will fear nothing
