hmm... in response to "cpinasti," are you saying that you don't use garter belts at all then? i know the thigh highs are made differently today, but don't they still sag a bit without a special belt? i also wonder if garter belts would show easily beneath tight clothing...

if you are wearing a garter belt to hold them up then they are more comfortable then regular pant hose. They suck if you dont have a garter belt though because then they fall down...it is "sexier" than pantyhose.

Garters are NOT comfy but some guys like them. The thigh high that stay up by themselves don't sag too bad unless they are too big or you have skinny legs. I don't wear them but I would assume fols wear them cuz they don't like the rolling and bunching of pantyhose/tights.

It's easier to put them on and more practical to use the loo, etc. As for sexier, it is also easier to have sex with them on. Now they make them with elastic bands, so you don't need to wear garter belts, which are not practical..

Sexier ? Actually it is fairly obvious, think . . .
Pantyhose are full coverage, hard to remove , modern day form of chastity belt . . . they are anti-sex . . .
The pantyhose / tights are more of a work place / cold weather garment.
The thigh stockings are garments for when you are dating your sweetheart / husband.
