do you expect (consciously or subconsciously) that they return the favor one day or do something nice in return!! it would be nice if they did, wont it?

The whole point about doing something nice is to expect nothing in return. If you want something in return then what you did was still nice, but not so nice as it could have been.

It would be nice if they did, but you shouldnt neccessarily (or openly) expect something in return. BUT what you should expect is gratitude and appreciation. If you dont AT LEAST get that, than something is wrong with that person, and I wouldnt do anything nice for them again!

We should do nice things just to be a nice person.
If we expect something in return then we really haven't performed a nice act at all.

If you do something good to anyone, this proves you are a nice people. But this doesn't mean that, that person is nice too. Even then, keep doing good to people, then certainly you would get some good company for you.

it feels better if you do good to someone without expecting anything rather than doing something good and expecting him/her to bring you back a favor.

In this day and age it almost seems expected somehow doesn't it? We live in an age of entitlement. Most people are completely self-centered & apathetic.

i love helping other, i do no want anything,in return,but i want them maybe one day to see some one in need of help an ,an try to help that person,,,by my helping,it show their still good in the world,an too, by helping them i also help my seld be a better person

when you do something good for somebody, dont necessary think you will receive a pay back, just do wat you are suppose to do. but it is better if appreciate is shown on the part of the person you did the thing to.
