As soon as I became pregnant, the first sign was fatigue! I would be tired all the time. Just plain worn out. That lasted about the first 2 months. Your breasts become sore. Kinda like you worked out with heavy weights and your muscles are sore. This happens very early on as well. I would feel sick to my stomache and certain smells made me queasy. For instance, with my last pregnancy I could not stomache the smell of coffee. I am a huge coffee drinker and drink coffee all day, but for some reason I could not bear the smell and I could only drink maybe 1/2 coffee per day.
Headaches are very common, urinating frequently, slight abdominal discomfort (almost like you are about to get your period). Becoming very emotional is a huge sign. Crying about the smallest things or becoming angry at the drop of a hat is very common too. All of these symptoms are early, within the first few weeks of pregnancy. Once you hit your second trimester you will start having other symptoms.
Good luck to you!

Nausea and Vomiting
Nausea and vomiting may come as early as a week into the pregnancy. Many women experience illness in the morning (morning sickness), some in the afternoon or evening, others feel nausea throughout the entire day. There is no explanation as to why pregnant women feel this or even a solution as to how to prevent it - however, eating small frequent meals, and snacking on saltine crackers seems to give some kind of relief. Eating a protein/carboy hydrate at bedtime (try an apple and a glass of milk) tends to lessen the nausea that occurs in the morning.
Breast Tenderness
Breasts may be very tender, swollen and start to enlarge. Many times the veins within the breast will become more visible. Your nipples may start to darken in color, become more erect and be extremely sensitive. These symptoms are due to increasing amount of HCG hormone that begins at implantation.
Frequent Urination
Pregnancy causes the uterus to swell and it will start to enlarge for the growing fetus immediately. The uterus puts pressure on your bladder making you feel the need for more frequent urination. Many women start to feel this symptom within a week or two after pregnancy has occurred.
Feeling Tired / Sluggish
This one is pretty obvious. When pregnant your body is going through some major hormonal changes. HCG levels alone go from 0 - 250,000 mIU/ml in just twelve weeks. Your temperature is also higher due to the amount progesterone circulating through your body which will also make you feel a little sluggish.
Missed Period / Light Bleeding
Light bleeding (spotting) may occur approximately 8 - 10 days from ovulation. It usually happens around the same time you would have gotten your menstrual period. Some women assume they have started their period when in fact they are pregnant. The spotting is caused from implantation which is when the fertilized egg burrows into the endometrial lining.
Dizziness and/or Fainting
When standing in one place you may feel dizzy or even faint. The growing uterus compresses major arteries in your legs which causes your blood pressure to drop making you extremely light headed. Skipping meals or going too long without eating may cause you to feel dizzy or faint. When not eating frequently enough it causes low blood sugar. Blood sugar is the primary source of food for your baby so it will be depleted much more quickly.
Constipation
Pregnancy hormones will slow down bowel functions to give maximum absorption time of vitamins and nutrients. Unfortunately, this symptom usually only gets worse as the pregnancy progresses.
Irritability
Raging hormones are the cause of this...along with having to put up with all the other symptoms. This symptom should decrease soon into the second trimester but until then, a healthy diet, moderate exercise and plenty of sleep should help the crabbiness somewhat.
Heartburn
The uterus is very swollen and starts to push upward as it grows. The increasing levels of HCG will also slow down digestion making your stomach not empty as fast which increases the stomach acid.

I has sore breasts from just before my period was due. So sore that I couldnt even hug my boyfriend gently! They felt like they were bruised black and blue.
I also had period like cramps from just before my period was due until about 8 weeks. They were so much like normal cramps that I kept running to the toliet thinking I had got my period but they were actually the ligaments stretching to make room for the baby to grow over the coming months.
LOTS of spots (unfortunately)
No real morning sickness though and to be honest I havent really had any more symtoms. I could easily go by thinking I'm not actually pregnant (am 10 weeks now).
Good luck!

Missed period could be linked with stress also. But my signs were; missed period, sore breast, and fatigue. After taking a test it came out positive and right after that I had really bad sickness. Morning, Afternoon, and night for about 4 1/2 months.

diarrhoea isnt a recognised sign, you may have a stomach upset wich has delayed your period, and would account for your tiredness. the signs of pregnancy are no period, excessive tiredness, tingly nipples and sensitive almost painful breasts, peeing frequently, i suggest you wait to see if the sympoms stay or go after your runny tum clears up, as that could be why your tum is hurting

nausea (about a week after your due period was missed, could be slightly longer)
morning sickness (about a week after your due period was missed, could be slightly longer)
tender breasts (around about the time your period is due)
breasts fill out a bit (around about the time your period is due, can be a few weeks after)
cramps (a few weeks after your period was due)
implantation bleeding (around the time your period was due, usually around 12 days after conception)
increase in discharge (anytime between after conception and the first trimester)
frequent urination (usually after several weeks of conception but can be earlier)
constipation ( usually during the end of the first trimester going throughout pregnancy)
feelin faint or dizzy (few weeks after conception)
higher temperature (few weeks after conceotion)
These are the most common signs of pregnancy, however every women is different, some experience them all, some experience a few and some experience hardly any. I would take a test if you think you may be pregnant.
Hope this helped :)

If you do a test and it comes back negative, then you could go to the doctors and request a blood test..They do one , and then you go back after fourty eight hours, if your hormone levels have risen in that time then the chances you are pregnant.......You can either get sickness but not always. You may find that your breasts are tender to the touch.....
You may well go off food, and particular if you smoke you may even feel sick at the smell of that...All women have different symptoms, so the only way you will find out for sure is to do a test of go see the doc........Hope you are, and good luck....Mum of 8 wonder full kids......love and god bless.....
