I use regular Tide and yet they have light colored areas as if they came in contact with bleach.

If your tide is powder and you're not letting the powder dissolve in the water before putting your towels in, it can stain the towel. Same goes for liquid.

Sometimes shampoo, shaving cream, or soap can spot towels as well.

I use concentrated All and this has never happen.Do you think they may be from tumbling in the dryer?I know my dryer was not working good and I put in jeans and when they were dried, they had white streaks that made them look worn.Call the customer service # on the box and tell them what you have on your towels...Good luck.
