Pittsburgh has very few bars downtown, most are in the Southside or Strip District (the strip is closest to downtown).
The only Downtown Bar I am aware of that caters to the non hetero community is:

Not sure if Donnie's Place is still open. Lesbian upstairs, with the Leather Central Bar downstairs for the men. Strange combination.
