Yeah, i do believe there is something or someone else out there. I've watched some of those documentaries about people who are abducted and seen aliens. Even the Bible says something about creatures from other planets. I dont like to think about it though cause it kind of freaks me out.

I find myself often wondering about the universe. I would like some feed back from others. Just to find out if people out there believe that the universe is too vast to simply have only life on earth. I appreciate all answers. Thanks!

I do not dissbelieve, to say the least. All the signs are that there is life on other planets. As you say, the universe is too vast to simply have only life on earth.
I would be more convinced, however, once we establish that beyond doubt.
The most important thing is to keep on searching beyond the horizons.
I am not sure, though, that the discovery will take place in my own time, but I would be the happiest person to have been proven wrong.
Lets keep our hopes alive!
All the best!

Since dozens of other planets outside our solar system have been discovered in the past ten years, it looks as if there are billions of other planets in this galaxy alone. Many of them, probably 90% or more will be unsuitable for the emergence of life - too hot, too cold, nasty stars nearby, etc. but that still leaves millions of planets suitable. Could be that there is life on all suitable planets, could be it's rare. In either case the life that does exist elsewhere might be about as smart as a dog or a tree. Or once it a while, it might be smarter than you. Or me. Or that character Albert Einstein. Oh, there are millions of galaxies too. So what do you reckon?

Of course there is life on other planets. To think Earth is the only place in the entire universe with life is ridiculous.

I believe that there are planets which represent stages of spiritual development (including ours) which have humans of different levels of development. By the look of our planet, along with the corruption, greed and violence, it's not surprising we are on the very bottom level. Try to speak to most people about spiritual development and extra terrestrials and you get laughed at. My point exactly, since we are so materialistic and think we are so superior. Why not have an open mind? Of course there is life (and far more sophisticated) on other planets.

YES! A complete, 100% postitive yes.
There is an entire universe for life, and some scientists believe there may be several universes. Life has got to be somewhere in one of the billions of galaxies that rule our universe.

Considering exactly how large the universe really is, I find it hard to believe that there is not life on other planets

Yes, although not in this part of the galaxy. Forget the Drake equation (outdated) - read modern Astrobiology books. I'm doing a blog on the subject at Yahoo, but it's only half done. Try joining "SETI AT HOME", (Wikipedia, Google, or the WebFerret search engine) so you can help find them.

Of course. There are so many stars there have to be many planets like ours and hopefully life has evolved there. Read up on the Drake equation here which gives an estimate of the chances.
