Maybe because you care about the life on earth or more importanly you care for the life that your children and grand children will inherit from you and all of us... Don't you want the future people to have a quality of life? Earth to still exist? I can't imagine what will happen to people, animals and plants when earth's life will come to an end...

We should all be concerned about the future, however, so called "Global Warming" is something that you or anyone else need not lose sleep over. It's sad that Al Gores movie "An Inconvenient Truth" isn't labeled as fiction (by the way what is Al Gores science degree in? I Know, I Know! SQUAT! he doesn't have a degree in any scientific arena) it is slammed by "inconvenient facts" should any one out there care to get their information from real science.
As far as pollution goes, I'm against it in all it's forms. However, "An Inconvenient Fact", is that Mt. Pinatubo,in the Philippines injected more pollution into the atmosphere than ALL the man made pollution since the industrial revolution.
There is nothing (short of a giant asteroid striking the earth) that will end us in 100 years. So don't worry be happy! The rest of you can continue to worry away your entire lives, especially about the giant asteroid........It's coming........

So basically your saying, 'yeah, keep polluting the earth. Who cares about the billions of animals, our children, the whole world, because what happens then won't affect us'.
Gimme a break. Go get a smoke, or maybe a job.
Its very comforting to know there are people in the world who couldn't care less about anyone or anything else. Are you aware respect for the environment is a virtue? You should try it.

If you're a selfish,selfcentered bastard, then you should not be concerned.On the other hand,if you have concern for future generations of people,you should try to leave the world in better shape then you found it.Our forefathers,that invented the locomotive,internal combustion engine and help establish the industrial revelation did not realize what future damage it would cause.Yuo can't really blane them,cause didn't know.But now we know the repercussions of such lack of knowledge.

Thats what I say. It is fruitless to get upset over things you have no control over and that includes things around the world. Unless
you can do something about it you could spend your whole life being upset and living negative.
