I have some school credits at a Junior college and would have to get my AS or AA first before going to a University, but I don't really know what I should get my AA or AS in to pave the way. Then what do I do after that????

I used to work as a junior college counselor. Consider an associate in science (AS), then obtain your bachelors degree majoring in Biology and ALSO have a minor (something to fall back on). Minors can include pshycology, consueling, engineering (for biomedical degrees). Prepare for your MCATs the summer between junior and senior year of bachelors degree. You have to get high results in MCATS,to be accepted in a medical school. Its a can make you or break you type of exam. Keep your GPA up and stay at the top of your finances (pay all bills on time) so you can continue to get loans for med school. also, from time to time, volunteer at a hospital to gain experience before your internship.

Your JC student counseling will readily have the answer. In education the path to medical degrees is well established. Your education, to this point, will be estimated for relevance and then a curriculum plan slanted toward your medical interests and existing transcript. Or call a university teaching hospital and ask for a few moments discussion as to the best course to pursue. It's worth a try.

In hard science, math, chemistry, physics etc. You need to be sure your GPA is high as possible, the process is very competitive.
