INTERESTING FACT:
20th century fox used Klasky Cuspo as their animators but after the third series they wanted to concentrate on a cartoon that they had creative control over. Fox was then forced to find another animation house, and looked to Film Roman which is why there is a massive difference in animation quality.
Also Dan Castanella, the voice of Homer found it tough keeping the deep voice up for a whole episode. He asked the producers if he could change Homer's voice to one that was less strain on his throat. The producers said no, instead he changed his voice slowly so the producers wouldn't notice
Oh and the cartoon that Klasky Cuspo slacked off the most popular cartoon in the world to produce....The Rugrats

It's the 1st series. I think it's interesting to see how far the programme's come.
I still think there's a bit of charm to the early episodes, some really good ones, like when homer and bart get lost in thewoods, genius!
If you ge tthe seson 1 DVD the commentary is full of people moaning, groaning and gasping about the shoddy quality, in some cases, these are better than the episodes themselves.
However, I don't think the voice casting for Burns has altered, it's just developed/mixed different

It's because it was their first season and they were just starting out. The series got better and better but recent times have shown a decline in the show's quality.

It's awful at the moment - why put the really old ones on like that!!?? The colours and voices have changed so much - makes you realise how much animation has come on over the years!

I also remember watching afew of these episodes when I was a kid - which was over 10 years ago at least!
