A Positive Test has the reliability of 97% with possibility of False Positive of 3 %
A negative test report reliabilty depends what time it is done
A negative test after 10 days of missing periods has a reliabilty of about 90 % but then u must see the doctor to see the reson for delayed periods

More than never it is. It is very rare to have a 'false-positive' result. When a woman is pregnant she produces a hormone called 'hcg' and these tests detect that hormone. However, if it is too early, she may not have produced enough of the hormone for the test to detect. If she took a test twice and it said positive both times, she's pregnant. Make sure to get to your ob/gyn asap as you will need prenatal care!

They are pretty reliable but should be followed up with a physician. Time will confirm the results if you don't get your monthly. If you are pregnant, you should be on special vitamins and have regular check ups. Best to start early with a doctor and build a rapport. They don't generally charge per visit, but per delivery. Your baby will have the best chances if you see a doctor.

Yes, but Read the package, they should have percentage accuracy for the test. Second test if performed and is same as the first then accuracy will be batter. Even doctors have to give results with percentage accuracy in mind.

If you mean a home pregnancy test, yes, if it's positive. If it's negative, you still might be pregnant, but you may have tested too early.

It's a start, if the home test is positive you should then go and be tested at a medical facility....either that or wait till you start to show.
