Whatever happened to the teddy bear that featured in the 70's period drama Brideshead Revisited?

The teddy belonged, I think, to the actor Simon Bowles. Its real name was different to the one that Sebastian Flyte (played by actor Anthony Andrews) called it in Brideshead.

It was actually called aloysius, I think !!!!

I saw one attached to the front of a refuse wagon last week. Could it be the one?

What colour was it, and did it have just one eye?
