sit calmly for 5 minutes before start studying.Recollect whatever you have studied. This is not an one-day project.
Repeated practice.
Need not do yoga while studying.Do it in the early morning. It will keep you fresh throughout the day.

how to get rid of stress?
i'm a CAT aspirant. whenever i open my maths book i'm greatly stressed which hampers my answering capabilities. i can't even answer the questions i've done before. please help! do not suggest yoga nd other stupid things. i can't sit for yoga while studying.
What is the basic problem and why you get stressed whenever you open your maths book?
May be you need counseling from an experienced psychiatrist, but please don’t reject or brand it as a stupid suggestion.
Whether you are going to appear or not for CAT test , you must learn to remain calm and composed and be free from anxiety ,worry and any fear about the CAT and its out come etc.
Be free from anxiety ,take your book and try to work out sums irrespective of whether you are going to attend CAT or not.
You make a self analysis of your own capabilities and clear off the doubts if any and proceed with extreme self confidence. You can definitely overcome the starting troubles and succeed in your CAT test also with flying colours.
HAVE SELF CONFIDENCE FIRST.
HAVE SELF CONFIDENCE LAST.
AND IT IS A MUST .
WISH YOU GOOD LUCK.
NB: I AM NOT SUGGESTING YOGA OR ANY OTHER STUPID THINGS.

Remember things that affect stress... your mind and your body...
MIND: Is there anything about math that disturbs you? You need to focus on what you have at hand and forget the things that stop you... Learn from yourself why?
BODY: Once your mind tenses, the body responds in kind... then you need to relax all your muscles just enough to stay in a comfortable position. RELAX!!! It might help your thinking, because blood will go to where it needs to be... your brain...
Believe in yourself that you can do this test... you deserve it... you will get it and pass the test... you will remember and understand all the things in the test... you will give perfect scores... you will get what you want...
Have fun while your at it...;-)

I don't know about what you SHOULD do, but here are some ideas: -scream into a pillow -write down all your angry thoughts and rip them up -write a poem -watch tv/go on the internet to distract yourself -do some homework/work -clean your room basically anything that would make you think/sort out how you feel/take your mind off your bad feelings.

Take deep breaths, refocus, and don't get overwhelmed by looking at all of the math questions at once. Just cover all of them up with a piece of paper, and focus only on the one that you are trying to answer. Then after answering that question, slide the paper down to the next question. Remember to focus only on that one question at a time.
Also, learn to meditate daily. Ask Jesus to guide you, and, so He shall.

I see that your stress is focussed in math's book....
Maybe you mustn't take math as a fear cos this is the cause of stress...
I dont counsel you such stupid things as yoga or meditation....NO!
Just relax when you take math's book in your hand...think about it like smth that you like more than all...
I want to help you but I dont have ideas.....

I don't know if this will help, but I watched a documentary once about a "seer" who was having issues with grades, and his guides told him to sleep with his text under his pillow.
Now, it may be stupid to think that you can desensitize yourself to something by being near it when your guard is down... oh wait! That IS how you desensitize yourself.
If it doesn't work, you haven't really lost anything.
Good luck!
