He's a living definition of the British slang word "gormless." That "Oxford stammer" is supposed to be diffident and endearing but from where I sit, he can't act...his character is always the same, no matter what he's in. Two-dimensional, cardboard uppermiddleclass Brit. Booooring.

If you ask a British girl for her opinion on Hugh Grant, chances are she will feel very strongly on the matter - either he is a gormless annoying idiot, or Mr Sex On Legs. Judging from the success of his films, there must be alot of secret Hugh Grant fans out there.
And no ... I do really have no opinion on him!

Hugh Grant is a stuttering t*t-end though, I don't like many of the films he's in but my missus does so I sometimes have to sit through them. He's harmless though...
