Not really. I think some of the ideas were interesting... No fair catches, one receiver can motion forward and have a head start (like Arena football), allowing TD celebrations, more fan participation... The NFL is way too strict on celebrations (remember it was nicknamed the "No Fun League"). And there's too many TV commercial breaks! Have you ever been to a live game- I can't believe how many times play is stopped!

But the play on the field in the XFL was horrible, especially the offense. The sportscasters were lousy- remember Jesse "The Body" Ventura commentating on football.

The XFL was a joke. "He Hate Me" (real name Rod Smart) last played for the Carolina Panthers in 2005. He went to training camp with the Raiders in 2006, but did not make the final cut.

Not me, I knew that the XFL would be a flop.

Perhaps Tommy Maddux does, I doubt anyone else cares. Rod Smart aka "He Hate Me" was playing for the Panthers but now plays for the "powerhouse" Oakland Raiders. Check out his Yahoo player profile and scope his sweet fro' !

He Hate Me had a contract with the Panthers as a return man a while back, not sure if he's still with them.

I miss it. The nicknames were hilarious. I think "he hate me" plays for the saints or something. He's in the NFL.
