They lived their destiny...why change it? After all, it is their lessons not ours.

I would try and save Elvis. He just needed someone to care about him and not what he could do for them. It would have been hard to do because of his "entourage" and The Colonel didn't want anything to happen to their control over him. If he had gotten straight their "gravy train" would have ended. It may have ended the way it did anyway, but at least Elvis would have known that somebody gave a damn about him.
Howard Hughes had a mental illness and needed professional help.
Marilyn was murdered to keep her quiet. Due to her "relationship" with the Kennedy's, both JFK and Bobby, she knew too much about what was going on in the government and the people that actually run the country couldn't have a loose cannon walking around. So, if I had tried to save her I would have been dead right along side of her, "Murder, Suicide Pact". Isn't it strange that Marilyn "overdosed" Aug., 4,1962 and JFK was assasinated Nov.22,1963 the very next year? Coincidence? Conspiracy? Fact? SHHHH!

Marilyn Monroe without a doubt.
I would hope that I could help her see things in a new light & that suicide would not be the answer b/c knowing what I know now; i'd be able to speak from experience.
I used to think that I was alone in the worlkd like she did..use of drugs, adoption, lonelyness, being insecure, etc.
She was a beautiful woman who's life was well known but was known even more after her death.
I'd ask her questions about her life for sure...

Elvis, but it would have taken more than a week. He needed to be removed from The Colonel and all his 'yes men'. That would be the only way he would have had a chance.

Once he was away from their influence it would be easy to remind him of the importance of family, he had his daughter. Family was a big part of Elvis' life and reminding him of what he had and what he could get back would have helped.

Marilyn Monroe I would have done everything in my power to make her feel like a good person beautiful inside and out i would have been there to help her realize that her life could be one of the greatest without self destruction. we all know why she was destroyed, because of the Kennedy's. i would have been there for her to help her realize she didn't have to hide anything. she got a bad bad rap and it was not all her fault. i love mar

Elvis, no, because drugs get an impossibly strong grip on you. You'd need to get to Elvis 30 years earlier to make a change.

Hughes, no, because he was in the grip of mental illness. Good luck with that.

Marilyn just needed love and acceptance. She was lonely. She felt down. She, most of us could have saved from her sad end.

I would save Marilyn Monroe, because she could tell me more about JFK. I don't know if I could save her, but I would make her take me shopping first!

Only 1 week... definitely not enough time to rescue any of them. Their plights began many, many years prior to their demise.

Hughes was a real genius. Wish he had stayed sane to invent...

Presley was a different type of genius. The people kind. He still could have contributed more to society.

Monroe allowed herself to be used and it cost her her life.

I don't think that I could choose between them. Who are we to decide who should live and who should die? They all died when it was their time to go, just as you and I will. Unfortunately, I don't think that anyone could have saved them, the ones who were close to them, had tried for years!
