Women wear those to show off their butt.
Women don't care that it is not hygenic, as long as it gets rid of the pantylines under their skirts or pants.
And ofcourse it shows off their cheeks and makes men turn around. Lets face it women would wear a shoe box on their heads if it attracted men.

I think that the point of a thong is to have something on when you are wearing a certain kind of outfit that you do not want to show a panty line.
I am not too into them anymore, I was before. I think that it is a feeling or thought of being sexy. To walk around knowing that you have a thong on.
I can't stand it when girls wear it to show them off-that's trashy!

I understand that a chick may not want to wear a thong all day long for day to day operations but on those special nights and occasions when she does it can be very seductive.

Thongs are uncomfortable i have no idea why anyone would want to wear one in the first place. I have friends that wear them they say they are comfortable, i ask why and they say that they just are. I am totally with on them being uncomfortable.

a lot of women do... but a lot of women also wear tight pants so wearing granny pants won't do... try seamless underwear... they are so comfy and they come in many styles and colors. They are so much better then have a string stuck up your assss!!!

I can't stand them and they don't make me feel sexy at all, I mean are terrible wedgies sexy? No. As far as seeing the panty line; I just wear the "boy short" panties, if I am concerned about my tight skirt or pants, and the panty line can't be seen.
