It is if your are reaping the benefits of the price of oil, as George Bush is. But for my own personal decision I would have to say no it is not worth it.

Considering that the US doesn't get oil from Iraq and doesn't benefit in any way from Iraqi oil, so it is quite disingenuous and intellectually dishonest to say the war is for oil.
As for the killing of innocent people, that has mostly been done by the Iraqis who supported Saddam when he was in power - the Sunnis. They seem to have a problem with the other 70% of Iraqis having freedom, liberty, rights or hope.
Interestingly enough, the insurgents support the same withdrawl of troops that the Democrats do.
It would be nice if some of the anti-war people, instead of spreading stupid smears and lies, could actually formulate a coherent, fact-based argument about how a withdrawl would affect world peace, the geo-political reality, and US safety.

Talk to the Shia and Sunni about all that killingof innocents. The US and Brit forces aren't the ones doing the majority of killing of innocent people.
And it's not about Iraqi oil. IF the US and Brits stole ALL the oil Iraq could produce for the next ten years it still wouldn't cover the cost of what they have spent for the Iraqi people.

Wow! I dont get it. How does one answer this? How much oil? To whom?
I guess it's a statement? We are killing innocent people on purpose for Iraqi oil (specifically)
Is this what states it all? My my. I thought it was far more complicted than that. Oil? Hmm.
Perhaps when a suitcase nuke heats up Manhattan or the Saudi Refineries go down and forced transportation contingencies are instituted, and you can't even drive to your ex-favortie form of entertainment, .....
It is sad though, that innocents get harmed. It has always been that way. Some did it on purpose. Saddam anyone?

First of all, in 2005 Iraq was ranked 13th in the world in terms of oil production, with an output of 1.3 million barrels per day. 12 other nations were ranked higher. Even if the US is only producing 32% of its own oil demand, doesn't that give us a lot of other sources to buy from?? Hello!! Humm, one last thought, the last time I turned on CNN (this morning), I saw that insurgents are flooding over the Iraqi borders. They are the ones who are bombing and terrorizing the Iraqi people. That's Arabs killing Arabs....................... Just for the record.

No. But the US is not there for oil. If we were, we would have taken it. Did we? No. The oil still is sold as it always was.
We are there to try to establish freedom and save innocent people from people like Saddam, and also to hopefully protect our innocent people from another 9/11.

The terrorist islamofascist scum who are doing the killing while Americans are trying to help the good people of Iraq build a free country think the oil is worth murdering for. The islamofascists want the oil to finance terrorism. Americans are trying to help the good Iraqi people keep their oil so they can have better lives.

I think it's less about oil and more about diverting tax dollars into the hands of Halliburton and Bush & Cheney's other cronies. If they could have thought of a way to drain the treasurer without actually going to war, they would probably have done that. But this way Bush gets to make a speech in his little flight suit too.

There talking about pulling out our troops from Iraq so to me its saying that we were there to steal there oil and kill Sadam. And no its not worth to kill Innocent people over oil. If Bush does follow through with pulling them out watch what happens, I can't be the only one that feels this way.

The concept of going to war for financial gain is by no means a new one. So to single out Iraq is a bit myopic.
Let me ask another question - is it worth it to kill other people because they have different religious beliefs? That's pretty popular, too.

Who's getting Iraqi Oil? I thought that it was the innocent Iraqi people who were benefitting from the oil so you'd better ask the Islamo-Fascist murderers who are killing innocent people if it's worth it.
