First you must now who their carrier is like Verizon, Cingular, Sprint ... if you go to there site they have places where you can just type in the number you want to send and the message like Verizon is vtext.com, Sprint is http://messaging.nextel.com/cgi/iPageExt.dll?buildIndAddressPage&entry=1 they all carriers have a way you can send from their site or simply from email
