There's a report in the papers today that says that the British are not as loud and vocal in bed as other European Countries.

So my Question is women and men are you noisy or quiet during sex and do you prefer a partner to be loud or quiet.??

Does it put you off if someone is too loud, or do you get paranoid if they are too quiet ??

Barrowman- thanks for the advice. I'll bear that in mind next time.

Sleepy_he- No i don't ask too many questions during sex. i tend to just state what i'd like to happen.

James F- You sound like someone i know?? LOL.

Barmy woman- Thats a good point you make but i have to say that i like to change positions during sex as i find one quite boring. Although you are right about the positions in porn films sometimes being quite ludicrous.

Johnny - Fabulous answer, i loved it. I also think the report is sh*t as most people that answered my Q seem to think noise is good, so i don't know where this report got its statistics from.

as i live with an elderly relative (the wrong side of 90) i would consider it highly in-appropriate to start whaling sexual obscenities whilst the good lady was in the house. however, when she's out (pottering about or whatever she does) i think there's a hell of alot to be said for a full on session, talkin' dirty, screaming, legs in the air, the works.

so to answer your question - i'm english and i haven't the slightest problem with "being vocal" which suggests the reports sh*t. if your happy with the noise levels coming from your bedroom then it doesn't matter one bit what francois and fernando are up to.

*by the way, you may have noticed i haven't used capitals, this is merely a way of saving time, not because i is bad grammer*

Both parties should simply relax and do what comes naturally, if they're loud they're loud and if they're quiet, they're quiet, its what constitutes the sex that matters not how much noise is made, you can be the best lover in the world and be v quiet, equally you can be crappy and yell a lot as you hit the 'goal'
Too much emphasis is put on how people should/should'nt be, using porn films as a guide, which are totally fake and false, lets face it, can a woman really 'come' like they do in the films, with all that choppping and changing of positions? I think not...Jus be yourself, relax and enjoy....Too many brits are so stuffy about sex and not at all at ease, they do need to lighten up and go with the flow

Whenever I perform I make sure I am accompanied by a full military marching band to play in the background, and I make space-shuttle launch noises with each thrust.

As I remove my meat chimney from my flies Ihave a boxing commentator announce over the bedroom PA, 'And now- introducing the world heavyweight champion...The Amazing Todgerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!'

So yes, quite noisy.

I don't have any facts or studies at my fingertips right now, but every article I've ever read that's conducted studies or surveys on this topic say that men commit adultery only slightly more often -- usually only by about two or three percentage ports. Given those numbers, I'd have to say that it's roughly equal for both sexes.

I dont think that the noise u make in bed depends on where u come from I think it depends on who u are and what u are in bed as for noise I dont care how loud someone is but I suppose it would be off putting if someone was really quiet, lol.

People who make a noise when having sex are wasting energy which could be more usefully directed towards a better sexual performance. But keep it quiet or they will all want some.

That thing should produce an ecstatic noise, or at least a soft moan. Otherwise, it is not fulfilling. The greater the noise, the better the sense of achievement or fulfilment for me. Who cares who is listening in?

I've got no clue - and further, I'm not at all British.

However, I am a believer in the scientific method, so why don't you and I do some research on the side, eh? Heh...

wow... interesting study... I'm not in Britain, (US) so I suppose I don't count... But if you want my thoughts on it I'll give you some... lol

I'm loud. Probably too loud. (blushes) I'm extremely paranoid about my noises, since I have kids. It's kinda cool when my hubby makes noises... Just makes me louder...lol

;o)
