Well, Star Trek TNG comes to mind first, but I think some might consider Roswell a sci-fi show and that is my 2nd fave show ever. I don't think of Roswell as sci-fi, it is just your typical teenage drama with the alien element added on.
I see someone else mentioned Taken - I definitely loved that mini-series. Absolutely amazing!! Too bad it's so hard to find to buy. I don't want to spend $100 on it.

While it's not a Sci-Fi original series, I enjoyed watching the repeats of "Dead Like Me" but I think they may have taken it off the channel. :'-(

Stargate - SG1. Even after 10 years they still come up with fascinating stories. Course I could be biased cause I really do like the show alot.
